My First Garden

Fresh Vegetables

Planted May 11, 2009
This is my first vegetable garden. There are five different types of tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, red peppers, green peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, and asparagus.
I have been very happy with the fence we put up. We have wild rabbits all over. They have yet to get in the garden. I would be heart broken if they did.

These pictures were taken May 30, 2009.
I got these cute little garden gnomes from Mothers Day.
Veggies are coming along.

These pictures were taken June 13, 2009.
I was so excited yesterday to see the heads of broccoli and cauliflower.
And today was I was weeding the garden I saw my first baby tomatoes.
I am so excited and very proud.

Noah's Graduation

Here are the only two pictures that I got of Noah's preschool graduation. I was so upset. I forgot the camera. I took these with my phone.
It was a very special night. It started with a pot luck dinner. Then the kids sang a few songs. Noah didn't know the songs that well until it came to the Coriss, and it was then that he over powered the room with his voice.
Of course, Noah was the only child running rampid through out the evening. That's my Noah.
His teachers said they were just glad that he participated in the ceremony. During rehersals he was not always willing to join in.
Last Friday was a sad day. I picked Noah up from school. I started crying as well as a few teary eyes from his teachers. They have put lots of time, patience and love into the past year with Noah. What would I do without the wonderful teachers that gave it all with Noah.
Noah starts kindergarten next year. He will be in a "normal" class. It's my understanding that he will have a person with him through out the day to help him with everything. He will continue get speech therapy and other services Noah requires. I just pray with each year in school Noah continues to show growth. He has shown a lot of growth this past year.

Bever Park

We have this park close to our house. It is free and open to the pubic. It is a wonderful outing for Noah and I. He is out of school one more week before he starts summer school.
